This information is used along with cookies to give us an idea of how many individual users are accessing our site and what information you are browsing for and downloading. This is something that all websites do.

What other ways we obtain your information?

There are a couple of ways that you freely provide your information to us and these are listed below.

  • Social Media channels - Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Twitter.
  • Competitions - Either in partnership with our promotions / marketing partners or channels.
  • Our local Support Forum.
  • Our local Support call centre records.

Where personal information is required (for registration purposes etc), we will make it clear when we collect it, we will explain what we intend to do with it and you have the option to not supply it. We keep only the relevent information required to fulfill legal oblegations and provide the required service. The most detailed information that we keep is stored on our secured platforms for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in our Melbourne based call centre and that information is only used to handle current service processes.

What about information used for Competitions?

Competitions wise the gathering of information from you as an entrant is maintained for as long as the law requires. There are a number of different parties that can be involved in running a competition for ZTE and the full details of Privacy protection are released separately with each competition. The general rule for ZTE is that we only look for the reach and success of a competition in promoting our brand and not the individuals participating. So we do not store or record your information ourselves. But do check each competition for it's own set of rules and policies to be sure.
